Rob Drake joined M&T Bank in 2004 through the Management Development Program and is a Senior Vice President and Regional Manager in M&T Bank’s Business Banking Division with responsibility for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Rob is a past President’s Council and SBA Advocate of the Year award recipient in his time with Business Banking. Prior to joining the Business Banking Division, Rob spent time in both the Retail Banking and Government Banking divisions of M&T in Buffalo, NY and Syracuse, NY. Rob earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hobart College (2004) and a Masters of Business Administration Degree from the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business (2011). Rob is currently a Board Member of Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center and The Buffalo Police Department Foundation, Inc. Additionally, Rob was appointed by City of Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown and currently serves as Treasurer of the Jesse Ketchum Memorial Foundation. Rob is a past member of the Board of Directors of Bornhava, an Early Childhood Center for Children with Developmental Disabilities located in Amherst, NY, President and Board Member of the Cherry Hill Golf Club in Ridgeway, Ontario and Secretary and Board Member of the Board of Governors of the Buffalo Tennis and Squash Club. Rob is a “40 under 40” award recipient from Buffalo’s Business First, a board member of the Buffalo Police Athletic League located in Buffalo, NY and a 2006 graduate of the Harvard Business School Club of Buffalo Management Development.
