George H. Carey is the President and Founder of Finz Seafood & Grill Restaurant & Sea Level Oyster Bars — three waterfront, high-energy restaurants focused on fresh local seafood and raw bars. Prior to founding Finz Seafood Restaurant and Sea Level Oyster Bar, Mr. Carey enjoyed 20 years in the restaurant industry. Previously, he was the C.O.O. of John Harvard’s Brew House L.L.C. Mr. Carey also served on its Board of Directors. Additionally, he held the position of Vice President of Operations for Bertucci’s Restaurants. Mr. Carey also served as the Regional Vice President of Operations for General Mills Restaurants, Inc. George is a member of the Executive committee of the Salem Partnership and is on the Board of Directors of Retail Association of Massachusetts, RAM, and is serving on the Board of Cove Risk Insurance as a restaurant representative. Mr. Carey holds an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from Johnson and Wales University.
