Bernadette Butterfield

As Senior Vice President of Business Strategy and Development at Groom Construction, in addition to leading strategic planning efforts, Bernadette plays a pivotal role in both Client and Community Relations, overseeing relationship development and managing Groom’s project pipeline. Bernadette is responsible for managing Groom’s partnerships with existing clients, city officials and community stakeholders, while simultaneously building new relationships. She is committed to many area non-profits & industry organizations through board/committee positions including: The Salem Partnership; North Shore Chamber of Board of Directors, Managing Board & Thrive Steering Committee, Salem Chamber Board/Executive Committee; North Shore CDC Thrive Committee, Lifebridge Development Committee, Greater Lynn Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee, Harborlight Community Partners Stewardship Committee, and Essex County Heritage Society Trustee. She is also an active member of NAWIC (National Assoc. of Women In Construction), PWC (Professional Women in Construction) and SMPS (Society of Marketing Professional Services).
