THRIVE Signature Luncheon “Impact In Action”

The Chamber’s THRIVE initiative is delighted to host its annual fall Signature Luncheon on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., celebrating the organizations making a meaningful difference in the lives of women across the North Shore.

Hear from inspiring nonprofit leaders about the work they do, the women they serve, and the impact they are making in our community. Following the program, guests will have the opportunity to connect with participating organizations, learn about available resources, and discover meaningful ways to get involved.

Our speakers:

— Sara Stanley, Executive Director, Healing Abuse Working For Change

HAWC provides services to survivors of domestic abuse residing in 23 North Shore cities and towns so they may make informed, independent decisions about their futures.

— Bethany Blake, Director of Philanthropy & Marketing, Harborlight Homes

The mission of Harborlight Homes is to collaborate with communities to cultivate just, equitable and sustainable housing opportunities that are vital to the health and strength of Boston’s North Shore.

— Mary Speta, Executive Director, Amirah

Amirah helps women exit sex trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, and sexual violence through independent housing, case management, and community support.

— Robyn Burns, Executive Director, The Salem Pantry

The Salem Pantry’s mission is to work collaboratively to empower its diverse local and regional communities by ensuring the essential right to convenient and reliable access to healthy food

— Karen Andreas, President & CEO, North Shore Chamber’s THRIVE Closet

The mission of the THRIVE Closet is to collect and provide gently used professional business attire to support women who are re-entering the workforce or looking to jumpstart their careers.

— Melissa Dimond, President & Executive Director, Wellspring House

Wellspring’s mission is to inspire families and young adults on the North Shore to achieve employment and financial security through stable housing, education, job training, and career readiness.

— Martha Leen, Director of Community Programs, AgeSpan

AgeSpan helps older adults and caregivers find practical support to live safely and independently at home and in the community, including services such as home-delivered meals, home care, and care coordination.
