Join Thrive for a special luncheon featuring keynote speaker Lauren Baker, former First Lady of Massachusetts and founder and CEO of Wonderfund.
Wonderfund is a private nonprofit that makes "moments that matter” for the 43,000 children engaged with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families. The organization provides resources for aid and comfort in traumatic situations, and opportunities for individualized enrichment opportunities that have the potential to change a child's life.
The wife of former Governor Charlie Baker, Lauren has been a longtime Wonderfund volunteer and founding member of its board, and took over as CEO of the organization in September. She is an experienced leader with strengths in communication, connecting and relationship building, teaching and motivating people, strategic problem solving, and a self-described "optimistic, high energy person with a passion for helping others."
