Join the North Shore Chamber as we honor the region’s veterans and military at our fifth annual Salute to Veterans Breakfast.
The program will feature the presentation of the Minuteman Service Award, recognizing selfless dedication and support of our military and veterans communities. The 2025 recipients are Lt Colonel (Ret.) Dick and Christine Moody, founders of Operation Troop Support. This Danvers-based nonprofit focuses on helping our deployed troops as well as their loved ones back home. The organization has shipped more than 1.5 million care packages to troops all over the world.
You won't want to miss this year's Keynote Speaker — Kris Paronto was part of the elite security team guarding the CIA annex during the 2012 Benghazi attack. You may know his story from the book and movie “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.” He served four years as an Army Ranger, followed by another four years in the Army National Guard. He reached the enlisted rank of sergeant before receiving a commission in 2003. Kris Paronto will offer a firsthand account of what happened on the ground during the 2012 Benghazi attack.
The 2025 Salute to Veterans Breakfast promises to be a morning of honoring, connecting, sharing and celebrating.
