Nonprofits across the county are eager to engage your voice, experience, and other skillsets for the greatest impact. Volunteering with a nonprofit as a board leader is a learning and growth opportunity where new knowledge, skills, and experiences can advance your personal and professional goals. Join Essex County Community Foundation (ECCF) for this one-hour workshop to understand the nonprofit landscape and the pathway to becoming a strong candidate for nonprofit board leadership.

- how to research nonprofits that share your passion areas
- skills you can bring to the table that nonprofits need
- the role and responsibilities of a board member
- tips, tools, and opportunities to find the best board leadership role for you
