As a nationally recognized advocate for government transparency and accountability, Auditor DiZoglio has made headlines for her ongoing legal battle to audit the Massachusetts State Legislature. Following overwhelming support from voters in 2024 — when nearly 72% approved a ballot initiative affirming her authority to audit Beacon Hill — DiZoglio has taken the unprecedented step of suing legislative leaders in the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court to compel compliance and unlock financial records that she says are essential to ensuring public trust and fiscal oversight.
Her work highlights critical issues in governance, fraud prevention, and enforcement of the public will. As Auditor, DiZoglio will share insights on these efforts, the challenges of confronting institutional resistance, and why transparency matters to Massachusetts business communities and taxpayers alike.
