The energy was palpable as more than 100 guests gathered for THRIVE’s signature Women In Our Midst Luncheon on September 24.
The luncheon featured seven inspiring women leaders from across the North Shore, who shared insights into their organizations and the important work they are doing.
Speakers included Karen Andreas, President & CEO of the North Shore Chamber; Bethany Blake, Director of Marketing & Philanthropy at Harborlight Homes; Martha Leen, Executive Director of AgeSpan; Robyn Burns, Executive Director of The Salem Pantry; Sara Stanley, Executive Director of Healing Abuse Working for Change (HAWC); Melissa Dimond, President & Executive Director of Wellspring House; and Mary Speta, Executive Director of Amirah.
Following the presentations, guests had the opportunity to network with the featured speakers, learn more about their organizations, and explore ways they could get involved and show their support.
One message resonated throughout the luncheon: there is no hard line between those receiving help and those giving it. At some point, we all need a helping hand, and supporting organizations that provide critical resources and services strengthens our entire community.
Thank you to all of our sponsors for helping make this event possible, with special thanks to our Presenting Sponsors: Institution for Savings, Wellpoint, Rockland Trust, and Johnson & Johnson.
And, of course, thank you to the incredible team at Boston Marriott Peabody for hosting us and always providing such a wonderful experience and delicious lunch!
THRIVE will host a Networking with a Cause event on October 27 at Maison Esthetique Christiane Bourque Spa. Tickets are selling fast, so be sure to reserve your spot!
