GLOUCESTER — A cool sea breeze, sunshine and incredible food combined for a perfect evening of networking at the Chamber’s annual Red, White & Blue summer party at the Beauport.
The oceanside deck was the place to be on this gorgeous summer night. Chamber members enjoyed networking, drinks and amazing hors d’oeuvres such as lobster mac & cheese bites, scallops wrapped in bacon, and vegetable spring rolls, courtesy of Sheree O’Reilly, the Beauport’s owner and a member of the Chamber Board of Directors.
Jeanne Hennessey, Beauport Hospitality director of communications, welcomed guests and spoke of her longtime commitment and appreciation of the North Shore Chamber of Commerce. She generously offered an overnight stay at the hotel as a raffle, and Joanne D’Alessandro, owner of Hestia in Marblehead, was the lucky winner.
Board Chair Joe Riley noted that his oldest daughter was married on the Beauport deck several years ago, with the reception in the adjacent ballroom inside. “I can tell you, there is no better setting for a wedding,” he said.
Laurie Paskavitz from Sports Medicine North surprised guests with bright red sunglasses, which came in very handy on this sunny day. (Check out the many red shades in the photos!)
The Chamber’s next summer after hours event will take place on Thursday, Aug. 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Salem Waterfront Hotel’s newly renovated Regatta Pub, both indoors and outdoors.
And, be sure to sign up for the Chamber’s annual summer dinner cruise on Beauport Cruiseline, set for Thursday, Aug. 8.
Thank you to Sheree O’Reilly, Jeanne Hennessey and all guests who supported the Red, White & Blue summer party. We look forward to seeing you soon.
