Gienapp Architects is a woman-owned business. Imelda Barnhurst, has over 20 years of experience in the architectural field. Originally from Woburn, Ms. Barnhurst earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgia Tech and a Master’s Degree from Illinois Tech. With Gienapp Architects since 2009, she previously served as Vice President and Associate for the firm. Ms. Barnhurst purchased Gienapp Architects from its founder, Dale Gienapp, in 2024 and continues the firm’s commitment to architectural excellence and project success.
