IPSWICH — Golfers teed off under sunny skies and super hot temps on July 17 during another great North Shore Chamber golf tournament at Ipswich Country Club’s championship course.

Foursomes played an 18-hole scramble format, with contests for men’s and women’s longest drive, closet to the pin, and a $10K hole-in-one on Hole 5.

While he didn’t win the $10K, Albie Maggio did the unthinkable on Hole 11, with a hole-in-one on this 140-yard, Par 3. His reward was an iPad — and big-time bragging rights.

The tournament’s golfers were treated to gift bags full of balls, tees and other swag, all donated by Chamber members. Following the day on the links, golfers headed into the clubhouse for a great dinner, sponsored by Institution For Savings and Groom Construction. Prizes and raffles followed, with numerous items such as Red Sox tickets, hotel stays, restaurant gift certificates, gym memberships and theater tickets, again all donated by generous Chamber member businesses.

Thank you to our numerous tee sponsors, as well as hole sponsors Baker Newman Noyes, Burnell Controls, Coastal Windows and Interior, DMS Design, REV Kitchen & Bar, Rockland Trust, Silver Lining Solutions and Upfront Media.

Chapters Recovery Centers had the first-place team, with winners Jack Ulwick, James DiGennaro, Colin McMasters and Patrick Smith. Second place went to the team from Hawk Visuals — Matt Mulligan, Nick Mulligan, Ryan Farrell and John White. And Silver Lining Solutions took third place, with Tom Tremblay, Mike Doherty, Tyler Rybicki and Jeff McCarren.
