The December/Year-End North Shore Business Confidence Survey is now open.
Members are urged to take a few moments to share their insights and opinions. A greater amount of responses yields more statistically reliable analysis. Business advocacy groups and policy makers use the data that is compiled when considering what measures to support or enact.
The business confidence survey is sponsored by the North Shore Chamber of Commerce and Associated Industries of Massachusetts (AIM). The two organizations launched the regional index to provide a real-time measure of how confident North Shore employers are about hiring, capital investments and general business conditions.
The North Shore Business Confidence Index (BCI) fell slightly to 52.2 last month, still comfortably above the 50 mark that separates optimistic from pessimistic outlooks.
