On June 24, 2026, the North Shore Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors welcomed Mike Minogue, candidate for Governor of Massachusetts, for a discussion about his vision for the Commonwealth.
During the meeting, Minogue presented his AAOK Blueprint for Massachusetts—Accountability, Affordability, Opportunity, and Keeping Communities Safe—outlining his priorities for strengthening the state’s economy and addressing challenges facing residents, employers, and communities. He shared his motivations for running for governor and discussed the importance of bringing a business-minded approach to state government, emphasizing fiscal responsibility, sound financial management, and informed decision-making.
The North Shore Chamber values opportunities to engage with candidates seeking public office and remains committed to fostering thoughtful, nonpartisan dialogue on issues that affect the region’s business community. Brian Shortsleeve is scheduled to speak at the July Board meeting and the Chamber is awaiting response from Gov. Maura Healey’s office to schedule a date.
