The Chamber’s February Breakfast Forum was a morning packed with important information. John Colucci, Managing Director at McLane Middleton and Chairman of the North Shore Chamber’s Board, presented a high-impact briefing, “2026 Massachusetts Legislative & Regulatory Update: What Business Leaders Need to Know—Now.”
Attendees learned about potential personal income tax cuts and new refund calculations; key updates to rent control, PFML, and pay transparency rules; new federal and state reporting requirements, including EEO-4 and 1099 changes; rules around domicile, overtime, and tipped wages; and emerging regulations on AI in the workplace, “junk fees,” and non-compete agreements.
Thank you to the morning’s sponsors – McLane Middleton and Connolly Brothers; speaker, John Colucci; the Hawthorne Hotel, and all who attended.
