Each year, Congressman Seth Moulton’s office recognizes local changemakers across the North Shore through the Peter J. Gomes Service Award – honoring individuals whose volunteer work reflects the integrity, compassion, and commitment to community that defined the legacy of Reverend Professor Peter J. Gomes. The nomination form is linked here.
We recognize those who are making an impact in areas like housing, food security, immigration, support for veterans, the environment, and other critical issues facing our community.
We invite you to help us uplift the people who are volunteering to make a real difference in your city or town for this year’s Peter J. Gomes Service Award.
Nominations are open now through July 31, 2026, at 11:59pm ET. You can learn more about the award by visiting moulton.house.gov/gomes.
Please consider nominating a local volunteer whose work deserves to be seen and celebrated.
