Over 200 members of the North Shore business community and interested residents gathered Thursday morning, Sept. 12, at the Boston Marriott Peabody. Following breakfast, the crowd listened as seven local municipal leaders provided an update on their communities – projects they’re pursuing, the issues facing their communities and the region, and their priorities for the season ahead.

Participating leaders included Mayor Michael Cahill (Beverly), Mayor Edward Bettencourt (Peabody), Mayor Dominick Pangallo (Salem), Mayor Jared Nicholson (Lynn), Mayor Sean Reardon (Newburyport), Town Manager Steve Bartha (Danvers), and Mayor Greg Verga (Gloucester).

The Chamber thanks the many sponsors that helped in presenting the 2024 State of the Region, especially the Presenting Sponsors – Wellpoint, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Rockland Trust, Silver Lining Solutions, Maritime Behavioral Health Management, North Shore Bank, and L.W. Bills.

Thank you also to Rockland Trust for their generosity in sponsoring a table of Salem State University students. The Chamber is always seeking ways to include students and young leaders in these important conversations and is thankful for the Chamber members who partner with them in this goal.
