GLOUCESTER — Chamber members bid farewell to summer under blue-moon skies Thursday night aboard the beautiful 124-foot Beauport cruise ship.
The weather was perfect, with a light breeze fueling the numerous sails that lined the harbor on the start of the city’s annual Schooner Festival.
Guests danced, sipped cocktails and dined on the staples of a North Shore summer — clam chowder, barbeque chicken, corn-on-the-cob and cole slaw. After dinner, the outside decks were the perfect spot to admire and photograph the super blue moon that rose above the harbor.
