A new month of Chamber programming kicked off October 1st with an informative Breakfast Insight Forum at the Danversport. 
Over 100 attendees gathered to hear from featured guest, Jeff Rogers, Head of Tax Services at E.J. Callahan & Associates. Jeff thoughtfully worked through the details of Big Beautiful Bill, passed on July 4, 2025, including aspects such as exemptions related to overtime pay, tip income, and social security benefits, along with itemized deductions for auto loan interest. The most important information was at the forefront — who qualifies, how do you claim and what is the employers responsibility. Jeff also explored the extension of expiring tax cuts that were included in the Bill, plus the Bill’s efforts to fix unfavorable tax provisions. He closed with information on the funding plans for these tax changes. A lively Q&A session followed the presentation.
