BEVERLY  — The founders of the luxury jewelry brand Colby Davis of Boston will be the keynote speakers at a luncheon hosted by the North Shore Chamber of Commerce’s Thrive initiative on Thursday, Sept. 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Boston Marriott Peabody, 8A Centennial Drive, Peabody.

Colby Davis, which is based in Marblehead, is opening a storefront on Boston’s Newbury Street next month. Known for their unique, layering designs and signature pendants, the high-end jewelry brand was founded in 2014 by Lia Davis Lombara and  her two daughters, Lexi Colby Lombara and Taylor Davis Lombara. Each pendant is individually fired to capture its originality and the intricate craftsmanship necessary for creating glass enamel jewelry of the utmost quality.

Lia and her daughter, Lexi, will participate in a panel discussion with Chamber President and CEO Karen Andreas and share the story of how they began their jewelry line and the growth of their business.

Lia Davis Lombara has a Fine Arts degree from Boston College and a jewelry minor from the Tuft’s Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. As teenagers, Lexi and Taylor joined their mother to design the one-of-a-kind jewelry collection. Today, Lexi manages business operations and development, strategic marketing efforts, and serves as an advisor, while Taylor is the the face of the Colby Davis brand.

The event opens at 11:30 a.m. with registration and lunch. The program begins at noon. Admission is $65 for Chamber members, $85 for nonmembers. Registration is required.

Thrive is an initiative of the North Shore Chamber aimed at empowering women at all stages of career to succeed both personally and professionally.

As with all Thrive events, the luncheon welcomes both men and women to attend.

The luncheon is sponsored by the Institution for Savings and Silver Lining Solutions, two generous supporters of the North Shore Chamber of Commerce.
