- James Roosevelt Jr., president and chief
executive officer of Tufts Health Plan, will address the North
Shore Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, May 3rd at the Salem
Waterfront Hotel. In his address, Mr. Roosevelt will offer
his perspective on how to better use limited health care resources
and effectively manage health care costs. With employers
continuing to face health care cost increases, and the landmark
health care legislation to consider, this talk will offer insight
on the opportunities and steps needed to preserve access to high
quality, affordable health care.
James Roosevelt Jr. is a frequent lecturer and author on legal
and public policy topics and he is Clinical Instructor in the
Department of Public Health and Community Medicine at Tufts University
School of Medicine.
He completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business
School in 2003, earned his J.D. in 1971 from Harvard Law School
and his A.B. from Harvard College in 1968. He is admitted to
the bars of the District of Columbia, Massachusetts and the U.S.
Supreme Court.
